“Everything from a single source” – a sales system in trade with decades of proven success. This approach is considered efficient and sustainable and meets the diverse requirements of a wide range of customer groups. PSA Zurich has made use of this principle for many years and, with CPTS (Complex Performance Testing System), developed a testing concept based on the “everything from a single source” philosophy. Its defining feature is a uniform methodology for the practical performance assessment of various constituent materials - including cement, mineral additions, fine aggregates, and chemical admixtures - based on the performance principle. The same equipment technology and identical measuring algorithms are used for all material tests. This allows the testing effort to be efficiently consolidated, so that the investigations can be carried out in the laboratory with comparatively little staffing effort (Fig. 1).
